this long awaited blog post

First of all, yes, the design of this blog has changed (still having mixed feelings about the color PINK). But the flowers are so pretty ok and I like the icon you see above with the robot ohoho.
Didn't write anything in April when so many life-changing events happened uh it's just that there's too much to write about and I ended up procrastinating /as usual/. Of course, the main question that goes through my head every time I have some free time is: Should I or should I not write about SAEYLS? It has been such an amazing experience that I would really like to tell the whole world about (as if anyone reads your blog) but at the same time I feel like nahh let's just keep all the details to yourself.
ok whatever la i write what i want to write.
I'll just write things generally. I went to places I have never visited, met people from countries all across the globe, made friends, did things I have never done, received things I have never received hahahaha. I was in the Saffron group aka Group Awesome with Marisa, Julie,an Indonesian girl whose name I forgot soz, Atikah, Gene, Azam and Fakhrudin (sorry for incorrect name spellings!). I was also in charge of the girls from Brunei ; Waznah, Fatin, and Atikah. I miss waking them up every morning, eating with them and walking together wherever we went :(
Each day and each place that all of us from 20 schools went left great memories. DEEP GASHES AND BULLET HOLES IN THE HEART. I miss watching movies with the Kappa Phi Nu gang before the delegates arrived. IN FACT WHY NOT MAKE A LIST OF THINGS I MISS ?? i MISS:- the samosas that we ate while the participants are in the competition, making the eco movie with kappa phi nu gang, the selfies we took with yb khairy, being roommates with cayssey hahahahaha who constantly nagged me of my messiness, the good food in AAN, PLAYING THE FIRST IMPRESSIONS GAME, PLAYING THE BANG BANG GAME HAHA, planting the trees with marisa under the blazing sun, looking at the mAJESTIC HIPPOS, fun talks with the c00l saffron peeps while having lunch at paya indah wetlands, getting dirty while in the mud at bakaugruv and being thigh-deep in the sea after the cleanup, sitting with the cool bus 2 back gang and listening to them, helping the brunei girls with their cultural performance practice, the beautiful forest in FRIM, the tiring hike up to the canopy walk, the view from the canopy walk, running around for the treasure hunt with the potato group, PLAYING SILENT KILLER, (too lazy to continue because i did this whole paragraph and then i didn't save it so it turned out all mutated blegh).
tbh there's much much more but I'd like to keep it to myself haha. This event was great, but the participants made it more amazing. I would always remember everyone, especially the Brunei girls with all the time we spent together, the boys from Lembah Bidong with their Frozen performance in Terengganu accent (BEBAHKANGG xD), the capuchin squad from Al-Azhar 10 with their hyperactiveness and jokes, Naufal with his funniness and obsession over Wi-Fi and Iman, Azam who talked to me a lot with his love for nature, his genius mind, all the nice things he said and his beatboxing talents, the coolio SAB team, and Ida who shared a lot of stories about Denmark and was really nice! NOT TO MENTION ALL THE PAIRS WE SHIPPED THROUGHOUT THE EVENT AHAHAHAHAA. Hopefully all of us, the participants, will still keep in contact even after years. TIME FOR PICTURES!

extra - the three pictures of the SAB team that i photobombed

Here's a video of some of our activities during SAEYLS from the first to the last day made by the Al-Azhar 10 teacher (it's super nice!)
