The Mundane Life

Assalamualaikum and hey, what are you up to. No, I am not expecting for an answer. So I am in one of those rare moods where I feel extra rajin. Speaking of rajin, is there an English word that accurately translates that word? Diligent is just.. mehh. Like, the opposite word of lazy? Okay never mind I am pretty sure you are lost by now.
This post will be filled up with plenty of pictures. Pictures of what I did during the holidays. A teeny part of it actually, because most of the time I am just sitting in front of the laptop doing a great job as a couch potato. I will also be letting out my K-Pop feels while I can because school starts in less than a week and I won't be able to fangirl a lot and I will be going back to my 'lessen down feels' mode (which didn't work out quite well to be honest). First of all, the prefect party pictures. 

I don't even have to point out which one I am (psst the tallest one!) Credits to Mitra. If I remember correctly we were supposed to do a 'supermodel' post. I failed. /weeps in a corner/

Credits to Aynn. I am surrounded by a.. bevy of beauties. Did I use that phrase correctly? Bangga me.

And then the days that passed on were not particularly special. Went to tuition and school. I got addicted to another Korean group, VIXX. I shall talk more about them later. On Thursday, to commemorate EXO's comeback after more than a year, Sharon, Balqis and Farah went to my house and we watched videos of EXO and VIXX and other groups. While waiting for the Wolf MV to come out. We kept on checking the SM Town Youtube page when they are supposed to release the MV, but obviously, they were not punctual grr. In the end, we got to watch both the Chinese and Korean version of the MV 2 minutes after they were released. To be honest, I like the Chinese version better. Still waiting for the drama version to come out - the one shown in their teaser. If not, just haish. Here is the Chinese version of EXO's Wolf music video:

Wow are those my first Chinese words here? Why am I even asking a rhetorical question now. Wait I just did it again. Anyway, went to Ipoh on Saturday. To be specific, went to Syifaq's house. But then she went to Istanbul celebrating her birthday and all. The pictures look fun. Got to read half of The Fault In Our Stars at her house. Went to watch Now You See Me with Kak Fitrah, Kak Hani, Arafah, Iman and Mira. IT IS A REALLY NICE MOVIE. Although I was not satisfied with the ending really. It's about magicians with actors like Morgan Freeman and Jesse Eisenberg (Social Network) in it. Here is the trailer, you are most welcome.

So. Pictures from that day. We actually snapped a lot more but then.. too lazy to upload them. 

Yes, we went to a Purikura booth. Idk the machine magically enlarges your eyes and give you clearer skin. We were freaked out when this came out. Since when did we do plastic surgery. 

Speaking of Purikura, let me quote what Cheesie (I love reading her blog since I was in primary school teehee) said in her blog about what to do when you visit one. 

5. Pretend that you know what the screen is telling you to do in Katakana, and just tap whichever button you pretend that you selected, and then PANIC MORE because now you only have 15 seconds to choose from 7249424 types of different themes and background. You may as well don’t bother because normally the brain of Purikura will end up choosing for you (and prolly calling you a loser during the process).

6. Err, wait for the mouth of Purikura to count down 3,2,1, then pose and look like a complete idiot.

7. Repeat step 6 for maybe 5 more times.

 8. Feel free to have a really hard time choosing 4 of the least unattractively idiotic looking photos out of 10 or whatever within 10 seconds, only to realize that you have run out of time and once again the Brain of Purikura has decided you deserve the worst 4 out of 10.

9. Done. Go out of the photo booth and enter the editing booth to decorate your pictures. Makes yourself look ridiculous. Sabotage your friend. (optional)

Yeah so blablabla at home I watched 21 with my mother. It's a movie from 2008, quite nice. Here's the trailer:

Ignore the bad quality. But man, he's a genius.

That's all. People my age are doing exciting things; travelling here and there, going to camps, and here I am, the definition of boring haha. /sobs/ Now let's move on to songs. Yes. All are Korean. 

Actually I would love to post all VIXX's songs here but that would be too much and it would irritate a lot of people. Therefore I shall put here VIXX's Hyde, the song that made me interested in them. Their acting in it is marvellous and kudos to the director of the video + the songwriter. The video totally complements the song. My favourite is their leader, N. Yes, that's his stage name. N. He's the one with red hair. It's actually a dark song (and video). Like, did you see the way Leo strangled the girl and how the others like pushed the girl away. The next song is /drum roll/ CL's The Baddest Female. To be honest, I really really hated this song when it first came out. It just had too much 'swag' for me to handle. G-Dragon and Taeyang even made a cameo in the video. But the song got stuck in my head and there's nothing I can do about it. Sad. She was really nice during her interview with IU, Hyunwoo and Kwanghee though when I thought it would be awkward because of their.. differences. I like the part when she says, "This is for all my bad girls around the world / Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good you know?" Her English is O.O

Now, the third song. I am tired, really and I should sleep now but never mind. Lee Hyori's Bad Girls. Yes haha, the title seems similar to the previous song. No comments really. But I am posting the live version of this song instead of the music video because I deem it as too.. unsuitable xD 

The last song. Pheww. You can do this, Durrah. It's a rock song by Guckkasten entitled Mandrake. No comments too. Just enjoy.
