Here is a boring post on a boring day. But boredom does not come easily these days when life is hectic, so it is a nice change I guess?
Entered the Bicara Berirama peringkat Petaling Utama. SA won third place woohoo. Out of fifteen schools, we were the first one to perform with the time limit being 15 minutes. So happy when the results were announced because every school did fantastic and we did not expect anything either since this was our first time and all who participated have never really entered any competitions before. What one of my friends said when we got the trophy was touching: "Selama duduk dekat SA ni, ni baru first time saya dapat hadiah!" and she was so happy :D
Then nothing special happened. Went to a pra-seminar PMR. Bla bla bla.
That's all, I guess? That really is the purpose of having a blog or Instagram is it. You tell people only the highlights of your life, leaving out all the boring bits so that people who read it feel like, "Oh, her life is so exciting! Why can't I be like her?" Cause that's how I feel hahaha. What in the world am I talking about right now. Zaharah said that in the middle of saying her point during English debate. "What in the world am I talking about right now." It happens.
Addicted to four songs right now. FOUR. And I am posting all here. Wow, this is my first time doing this. All the songs are quite old. Like, really old. The original singers of two of them are even dead. So, from order of addicted to most addicted:

Yesterday was Labour Day yet there was still tuition. Grr. Celebrated April people's birthday (including moi).

McFly's Love Is Easy.
Ellie Goulding's Lights. Did you know she wrote this song after her fear of darkness when she was a child?
Now, the top 2 songs. But I am not posting the original songs though, I am merely posting the covers from other artists.
Van Morrison's Moondance covered by Michael Buble. YES I KNOW THE LYRICS ARE SOMEWHAT UNAPPROPRIATE BUT. THE MELODY IS NICE. I sing this a lot in class though.
Frank Sinatra's Fly Me To The Moon covered by Jason Mraz. Let me cry. This song is just asdfghjkl.
A friend of mine was surprised when I joined in her conversation with her friends about Panic! At The Disco. She said, "Durrah! I'm so proud of you! I didn't know you listen to bands other than K-Pop!"
/clears throat/ As a matter of fact, before I listened to K-Pop, my favourite singer was Michael Jackson haha. I also.. listened to Muse, My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boys in primary school although I listened to more malay songs at that time. And I am not that outdated and ignorant you know. Wait, maybe I am. But still. I watch Lana De Rey and Marina and The Diamonds music videos, come on, I'm a normal teenager too living in Earth. -_- I have Maroon 5 and Coldplay songs in my phone too haish. I go to 9GAG. I know songs by Pierce The Veil. I memorize the cast of Pretty Little Liars because well, I read the first seven books of PLL and I watch the show occasionally. I have watched every single video of nigahiga. I have watched most of Michelle Phan's videos. I like The Beatles' songs especially Norwegian Wood and Hey Jude. In form 1, I was a hardcore Belieber and Directioner. I think The Wanted is cool, and I like Nathan. My point is, my world does not revolve around K-Pop only. Shall I repeat that.
MY WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND K-POP ONLY. To be honest, ugh, my statement in the above paragraph gives out a hipster-wannabe feeling. Oh Durrah, a wannabe now? Tch tch tch.
Although I do have more knowledge about them more than anything. Mehehe. This post would not be complete if I do not throw in a Korean song here, so here you go.
Why do they dance so well. /sobs.
Mid-year exams are coming soon. Study. STUDY. Like what people always say, aim for 100% for every paper, so that you will still get around 85-90. So does that mean if you want to get 100 you have to aim to get 200?
