Assalakualaikum and ayy good morning/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are, whenever you're reading this. Oops I haven't updated my dearest blog here for more than a month which was.. before Chinese New Year I guess? Wow that was a long time ago. And my blog views has reached 9900 views woohoo 100 more to a 5-digit number.
Heaps happened since I last updated, and thus, you see the title of this post. I'll just summarize the important stuff first. There was an open audition for form 2s and 3s to represent the school for choral speaking competition which was during thr same time as co-curricular activities and yeah almost everyone from my class last year went and there I was, thinking 'Oh, I can't miss Puteri Islam and Netball.' so everyone who came for the audition that day got in. The next day there was a second audition and out of 10? 12? they only needed four more and I sucked so Nadia who was the judge didn't chose me. Long story cut short, SA's choral speaking team won FIRST PLACE for the district level and also yesterday they won FIRST place again for states level and they're going for the nationals level woohoo! :D So proud of them wow I'm not even at the same level as them at all hahaha. I felt like slapping myself for crying not out of happiness when I got the news they won in Petaling Utama ugh you selfish person Durrah. But hey Sharon wore my blazer for the competition and now I sincerely have nothing against them and very very happy because.
There was another competition - Bicara Berirama (BM version of choral speaking). Between the form 3 classes. And the winner will represent the school for another competition. So my class had the least number of people, only 19 whereas other classes have like 30 +. And we only had a week to write the script that needs to be 8 - 10 minutes long, memorize it, and practice. I was the conductor of my class. Shh. And bla bla bla it was super fun practising together and like everyone bonded with each other. Fast forward to yesterday and wheee my class got 3rd place! I demand a round of applause from you. Do it. Or I assure you I'll be haunting your dreams MUAHAHA. k. 3B got 2nd place with Adeebah (yes her name appears quite often in this blog kan) as the conductor and 3D got 1st place with Melissa as conductor. And the best conductor goes to... /drum roll/ Khairah, 3C's conductor :D Really, I am veryyy happy. But still as the title goes, we lost the chance to represent the school ahaha but I don't mind this time c:
Another lost dream: Getting in the netball school team. Teared up a teeny bit too when I realized how impossible it is for me to get in this year too since too much.. things are happening. Especially tuition. That ruined my chance terus and made me not able to stayback haish. Every time during house practice pun, I can't stop myself from watching the netball team's training. Haha sedih sedih. Dahlah that day jumpa Azmina + Husnina and they asked me why I dah tak masuk dah. They told me that someone reminded them of me and they were like 'Durraahh!! :('. Haish I miss last year. Btw congratulations for the netball team, you guys won 2nd place kan for MSSD? :DD So awesome :o
Moving on back to the happy stuff. Green House is currently at 1st place after the Road Run yay! I only sumbangkan like 3 marka but each mark counts okay. Yes, I'm trying to cover up the fact that I'm a slow runner although I have long legs.
It was also Abang Syakiff + Kak Iera's akad nikah + kenduri etc last weekend. Spent a lot of time with my cousins. Went to H&M and Uniqlo on Saturday.
Enough of me ranting. Oh I also cut my hair really really short. Yes that was unnecessary but whatever.
