it's all lies

woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep and now it's 8.17pm and i feel terrible ahahah so here's a random thing i wrote for fun that has no correlation whatsoever with me i just did this randomly in 10 minutes trying to fight off sleep:

"you won't remember this in 10 years
and if you do
you're gonna laugh it off"
is a lie
because sad things happening
in standard four
of sobbing over marks
and thoughts of not being enough
why do they still stick around?

"dream big
the sky's the limit!"
is a lie
dreams get shot down
when those dreams
don't fit in
'their' perception of the sky
the limits smaller than you thought

"i love you unconditionally"
is a lie
because that love
only appears when you act a certain way
when you achieved a certain thing
unconditional
means something else apparently

and the ultimate lie
the one that you almost believed in
"it gets better"
it never will
not in this lifetime at least
