After being free

This is a lengthy post without images. Bear with me.

It's so awkward typing this this in a place where everyone can see what I'm writing all they need to do is pass behind me, and that happens quite a lot.

I'm at the Newsdesk center at The Bintang (you know what I mean). Blogging.

Before I start explaining stuff let us all celebrate that SPM ended for me 9 days ago hurray!!! Let's just say that I'll be happy even if I can get at least 5 As har har har. To rate how the subjects were from the worst to the least worst: Additional  Mathematics (I can see my A flying off I left so many questions blank but it was better than Trials at least), Bahasa Melayu (/cringes at the thoughts of my answers/), Sejarah (what was that), English (idk i just had a bad feeling after i was done), Physics, Biology (Paper 1 was veeerryyy ok but then Paper 2 and Paper 3 hAHAHaha bye), Pendidikan Islam, Chemistry, Tasawur Islam, and Mathematics. Felt a bit sentimental when the time was almost up during my last paper, Biology Paper 3, I actually teared up a bit thinking 10 more minutes and I'm no longer a school student...... Anyway, when I was done my parents brought me to eat somewhere but the whole time my head was pounding there was a massive headache it was so painful ahahah the effects of not getting enough sleep for the whole month. So I slept at around 8 PM that day.

I had a list of things to do after SPM, and now, 9 days later, I haven't really accomplished anything much. Cleared up my stuff, basically collected all my worksheets and previous exam papers to be recycled and all. Finished an article for next year's stuff@school, finished an issue for Niexter. Yeah, somehow Kak Mastura assigned me to become the editor for the next issue of Niexter about part-time jobs, so I had to look for writers for the 12-page issue. Thanks for helping me Cayssey, Nadine, Mitra, Saiis and Ihdini! Included a BTS new album review and wrote an article about Yuzuru Hanyu lul this is what you get.

Watched MAMA 2015 and I spent more time being annoyed tbh than actually watching it. I was.. annoyed and amused at the same time with people saying the awards were rigged etc oh shut up already SM Ent Won 9 awards while YG Ent won 5. "But YG only has 2 idols nominated of course they'd win less!!!" There were more than three awards whereby Big Bang was nominated together with EXO/SHINee/Super Junior and the latter won?? And I didn't agree myself that IKON got to perform three songs but some people were just being ridiculous, "IKON should be embarrassed to even show their face to SHINee they are their seniors how dare they perform more songs than their seniors!!" Oh well, EXO is SHINee and Big Bang's junior, they performed longer than them? And performance wise, SM Ent controlled the whole show, with Taeyeon in the beginning, EXO and SHINee at the climax and f(x) at the end. Tell me again that MAMA is rigged and YG paid them when EXO won Best Asia Style with what they were wearing at the red carpet lol. Sorry, I got carried away. I'm not hating on them, I'm just hating on the people saying that it's YG biased. On a positive note, I was surprised during EXO's performance, they were really good and it felt like it was an EXO concert. I liked how now YG artists are not the only ones who go to the idols seating place while performing. 2NE1's appearance almost got me hyperventilating out of happiness (although there were a lot of negative comments). Seungri legit stopped the third world war by sitting on Sehun, that was definitely the highlight of the show. I was very, very against the fact that BTS only performed one song like come on they won the World Performer award and they were having their comeback why even. G-Friend deserved to come to. MAMA was somehow messy in the sense that they even gave the wrong trophies to the winners. Speaking of winners, I miss WINNER sobs.

My family and I went to Universal Studios Singapore on Saturday. We stayed in Johor and went there on Friday. On Saturday morning, we went to Singapore by bus. It took very long, the whole journey, the traffic jam. the immigration customs process and all. I can't help wondering how in the world do people travel back and forth to Singapore... unless they went by airplane of course. Random tip: do go there by bus not by car and travel early as your sufferings will be reduced by a LOT.  Anyway I was also kind of excited hoping I'd bump into any K-Pop idols like GOT7 or anyone.

Went on so many roller coasters my legs felt like falling off. It didn't help that it was raining cats and dogs almost the whole day that I expected a flood to happen. Bought some USS raincoats which didn't help much but my brothers and I looked funny so we just went around like that. USS should be a water theme park really. Even in the first ride (?)/ show(?) we went my father was drenched by a falling boat (don't ask). Then there was the rain. Then my brothers and I went on this ride at the Jurassic Park side and I got soaked lol we accelerated down this cliff and went straight for the waters. And then all of us went to watch this show called Waterworld and yes, the performers splashed water everywhere to the audience. Do bring a change of clothes if you plan to go to USS. I didn't get to meet any stars, except there was a time in the evening when I saw this horde of fangirls and cameramans and whatever crew filming someone and I saw people taking pictures with this guy before he entered this shop and tried on stuff. I Googled him and he is a Singapore actor named Desmond Tan. Btw Taetiseo went to USS two days after and went on the same rides as I did :''')

The trip back was kinda long too, and I was shivering the whole time with my wet jeans and the air-conditioned bus huhuhu. Found out about the passing away of Johor's prince, Tunku Jalil. Even though I didn't know him, I felt really really sad, especially after reading all the positive characters he had and how humble and down-to-earth he was. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Al-Fatihah to him :(

Went to Johor Premium Outlets the next day where everything was super cheap yet still authentic and I... didn't buy anything. Went home. Done.

I finished reading The Last Ever After and A Thousand Splendid Suns. Both were so well-written. Updated a chapter of Saving My Prince aka that long-forgotten crappy fanfic I attempted to write. Continued watching Show Me The Money 4 from where I last stopped until episode 7. I'm hoping to finish it and watch Unpretty Rapstar 2 next.

From where I last updated about songs, the comebacks did not disappoint me. I somehow listened to VIXX's Chained Up more than the others pls forgive me. During SPM too I got attached to a lot of girlgroups, mostly cute and innocent ones and mostly rookies. Somehow. In the middle of SPM random songs would play in my head like A Pink's Remember, G-Friend's Me Gusta Tu , Lovelyz Ah Choo and Oh My Girl's Closer. Sigh.

Here's some songs you should listen to (or not oh whatever do what you want):
BTS - Run. Tbh their whole new album is really good, I've listened to it several times. Run's MV is.. confusing but I understood it from all the comments hahaha and the dance is just ok bYE

G-Friend's Me Gustas Tu. If you don't know them you'll probably think oh a typical nugu group with an innocent concept who pretends to be cute with a boring cutesy song and dance anyone could do. You couldn't be any wronger. The dance is somewhat difficult that people actually commented "the girl version of BTS" on their dance practice video and it's so hard to execute!! They became more popular after that fancam of them falling NINE times in a performance yet they still continued singing and dancing was uploaded. They won rookie of the year for Melon Music Awards and will be reaaaalllyy big in the future. Check them out!

IKON's Apology. This song is like a slap in the face for haters who kept on saying "IKON can't sing" or "IKON is just B.I and Bobby with the backup dancers". Junhoe, Donghyuk, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong and even Chanwoo's vocals were ON POINT in this song. And the video is so deep I especially liked the part when Bobby rapped and was running the opposite way of everyone else. Deep sangat.

EXO's Lightsaber. The video above isn't the full version, but it's enough to make you all hyped up and thinking wHAT WHAT THAT'S IT??? I WANT MORE by the end. Their live performance for this during MAMA was great, although I was saddened to know that Chanyeol passed out after they performed. D:< SM Ent please stop overworking your idols ugh.

Oh I'm supposed to talk about my internship now. I'll do a separate post for that. Goodbye and Assalamualaikum~
