Graduating, SPM, Shingles, Melon Music Awards, Internship and more.

Assalamualaikum and hello hello hello. It's been some time. I'm currently in a one-week break in the midst of SPM because of Deepavali. Did I say SPM? YES THIS BLOGGER IS CURRENTLY FACING HER LAST SCHOOL EXAM. Now, before I move on to that, quite a number of things happened.

Before SPM like usual, we had this thing called Mantap Minda. It was actually nice being separated from my usual group of friends and to sit with others, I felt.. free? Thanks to it, I got to become friends (or closer friends?) with others like Shahira, Sofiah, Fatini, Ilyana, and Nadya. Hahaha. Also, I can't believe I missed this out but in the end of July my school did this thing called Kem Peledak where all of us form 5s were sent to stay in Universiti Malaya like college students and well, studied? My roommates were Zhee Qi and Aisyah. It was fun, and our room was blasting rap songs from Jay Park and AOMG, BTS, Zico etc whenever we were in. Special shoutout to my school SA, thank you for organizing all these programmes to help us with our SPM results <3 p="">
On 16th October, we had our graduation in Kelab Golf Negara Subang. It was fun when we received our robes and hat in school and trying them out for the first time. I also wore makeup hurhurhur luckily it wasn't noticeable. Funny thing though, I took out my braces a few hours before, and no one noticed me being brace-less the whole night, even after I posted a few pictures with me smiling widely. My teeth feels naked and it feels weird to not having any food stuck between my teeth. Now I have to wear retainers every night to make sure my teeth stays in place.

This was before my tudung goes out of shaped. I posted other pictures too on my Instagram but I can't get it now because I disabled it for the timebeing. So let's steal pictures from other people.

Unrelated but here's a class picture of 5 Sains Akasia. It has been a pleasant experience having them as classmates.

Now, to the real deal. SPM. My luck must've been super terrible as I was diagnosed with bloody shingles a day before SPM. What's that, you ask? Let's just say that when I got chicken pox when I was young, the virus that is supposed to be sleeping/dormant in my spine RISED UP FROM THE DEAD. If you want to imagine how it's like, I have blisters (you know those sacs on your skin with liquid in it) around my spine and the left side of my body. The virus comes and grows around my nerves, so it has been a painful week ahahaha. So I had to be quarantined during my first week of SPM.

The papers so far were... I don't know what to say. I broke down the night before SPM and the morning of the first day of SPM itself, but mainly due to the quarantine thing. It's actually quite calming to answer the papers alone, and I got to sembang with my pengawas peperiksaan. The tweets coming from SPM students after each paper are hilarious. Please pray so that all 98 liners will do well for the upcoming papers.

This is bad. Since the Sejarah paper ended, I'VE SUDDENLY BECAME ACTIVE WITH K-POP AGAIN D: D: D: Oh, I forgot to mention that IKON's debut was.. less exciting than I expected, the album itself wasn't that great. However, Airplane is SUPER NICE.

warningwarningkpopfeelsstarthere NOVEMBER IS WHEN ALL THESE GROUPS COMING BACK WILL SAVE K-POP. WHY? BECAUSE THERE'S BAP, VIXX, BROWN EYED GIRLS, BTS AND HOPEFULLY WINNER. *FANGIRL SCREECH* OK, I'm mostly excited for BAP and VIXX, because we haven't heard of BAP for a year ++ after the group left the company and their songs never fail to disappoint. Same goes to VIXX, their comebacks are amazing and their concepts are always so fresh, like Error, Hyde, Voodoo Doll and On & On. p.s i died at the teaser video leo werk it
I've also found myself liking new groups/people and shipping people here and there. Out of all the badass groups I like, suddenly, I fell over the charms of .. Lovelyz.

dON'T JUDGE ME FOR LIKING THEM THEY'RE SO CUTE AND FUNNY PLUS THEY'RE SO CLOSE TO INFINITE. There's so many familiar faces in this group; there's Jiae who became Infinite's younger sister before their debut in You Are My Oppa years ago, there's Baby Soul who was a trainee together with Sunggyu and also guested in his performance before, there's Jin whose song which has Xiumin acting in the MV made everyone bawled their eyes out and more. I REALLY REALLY SHIP THE LEADER BABY SOUL WITH SUNGGYU ASDFGHJKL. Thanks to them, I started stalking Infinite again and I was crying of laughter watching them as guests in Weekly Idol for their Bad promotions.

I also really liked Seventeen's Mansae. So far, I haven't been stalking them or anything yet, thank goodness. I'm still side-eyeing them after watching Vernon in Show Me The Money but hey, his song Lotto was a bop. Another song I've been liking recently is Beenzino's Break. Which brings me to my next point:
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Beenzino's girlfriend, Stefanie Michova is a super cool and pretty German model who has appeared in JYJ Junsu's Uncommitted MV and GD & Taeyang's Good Boy MV. Now, she's not only popular in Korea but she also acted in Little Mix's Black Magic music video, Demi Lovato's Cool For The Summer music video and A$AP Rocky's Long Live A$AP music video. Here's a screenshot of her replying to haters on Instagram after she appeared in Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk's music video:
QUEEN.

I watched the Melon Music Awards two days ago. Not satisfied that WINNER only appeared to give the rookie award to IKON. The performances from BTS and IKON impressed me the most. Big Bang turned the awards into their concert as usual. No surprised with them winning the Daesang awards, but I was also really glad that EXO's EXODUS won the Best Album, they deserved it and the album is great. Luckily too, G-Friend won the Best Female Rookie award, they worked really hard for it, which you can see in the viral video of their Me Gustas Tu performance where the members fell down 9 times yet they kept on performing. Also, MONSTA X WON AN AWARD YAY SO HAPPY FOR THEM.
p.s Despite all the controversies, I've been enjoying IU's Chatshire album, although yes, Zeze quite rubbed me off in the wrong way. Wondering if this will be the end of her career. Maybe not.

Remember that stuff@school newspaper I'm writing for? Well at the end of each year, 10 students who write in it will be chosen to intern for a month at The Star newspaper office. Last year, Cayssey and Qistina from my school were picked for it. This year they announced the chosen ones in an issue of stuff@school, and I wasn't chosen. Ha. I would be lying if I say that I wasn't disappointed but I know I don't deserve it. So I already planned what I wanted to do after SPM and such, until..
-screams ALHAMDULILLAH-

Ok ok I got to go now. A few days ago I watched The Fight Club and well, no wonder it was listed as one of the best movies ever. Thank you for reading!

Greyson Chance - Afterlife
I like this version more than the studio version. Lol at all the comments saying he sounds like Sam Smith.
