WARNING: VERY LONG POST.
Assalamualaikum y'all :D
Honestly, 2012 was, I mean, is a wonderful year. So much stuff happened that I can get dizzy just by thinking about it. If this year was a painting, it would look something like this:
The first half of the year was when I was unbelievably okay physically. Went to netball practices almost every single day and almost getting into the school team, sigh. I even got the school team shirt with my name at the back. Thinking about it now, I can't believe that I actually ran 4 rounds around the school field as a warm up every day - a feat which is impossible for me to do now. I started out trying for the goal shooter position and ended up being more suited for the goal keeper position.
Emerald Green got number 1 for this year's Sports Day yay!
Hmm family. Second big bro got to continue his studies at Vanderbilt University in USA. My paternal grandmother was admitted to the hospital sometime around the End-Of-Year exams. The hospital became my second home since I stayed there every day after school.
On the gloomy side.. my grades were far from their glory days back in 2011. Imagine, from being number 2 in the whole form to number 35. THIRTY-FIVE. This was the result of my big-headedness thinking I'm so smart at the beginning of the year I guess. Got my first B in Geografi. Cried a lot during the first half of the year. Hated form 2 during the start. I started becoming lazy. Procrastinating became my hobby. Finishing assignments at the eleventh hour became a habit until I didn't even bother finishing my homework at all, preferring to copy Sharon's work. I managed to stop this humiliating behaviour of mine, and let me tell you, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT.
Friends. Made a lot of them, lost some. I guess I lost it with my classmates last year although we do say hi when we pass each other. Got to know a lot people plus seniors better through the prefectorial board, Eco Rangers, netball, and Puteri Islam. And through K-Pop. Seriously. And.. you know the popular people you never have the guts to talk to, thinking they're better than you in looks, wealth, and fame? Once you get to know them, they really are no different from you and I.
K-Pop. I got to know more groups than I ever had before. Learned about those different companies like SM, YG and JYP Entertainment. Watched a lot of Korean dramas and shows. Learned how to write and read Hangul. Bought a lot of K-merchandises. Made my first bro watch dramas with me. Became huge fans of MBLAQ, Infinite, EXO, BTOB and more.. 2012 is when a lot of groups did performances in Malaysia. Yes, Big Bang. If last year I barely know any groups performing every week on Music Bank, this year I could even tell each person's name in most groups lol.
2012 is the year where I actually dressed up haha. Before this, I would just wear a plain tudung sarung when I go out but now bukan main lagi pakai shawl, tudung bawal semua hahahahhaa.
Eh suddenly I am reminded by the time when I fell into that hole/longkang that was supposed to be covered by a metal grill in front of school. You know, the one where they pathetically covered it with pieces of wood or had a red cone beside it as a warning. It was during the same day my bro received his SPM results. Horrible experience. My green house t-shirt was almost half-ripped at the back and there were terrible wounds on my arms and knees. Not to mention the trauma and embarrassment.
I didn't feel like I was trying too hard. I am happy being myself this year.
Let's wait for when I shall post my New Year's Resolutions :D

2012 is the year where endless opportunities came to me. And all of them being school-related of course. During the beginning of the year, I got elected as Vice Secretary of Eco Rangers and by the end of it I became the Secretary. My dreams of becoming a prefect came true.
Then there were the competitions. Got number 1 for making the Eco Poster in Sarawak. Got first place for Hafazan at school where including me there were only three people participating hahaha. Got last place for pidato Puteri Islam. And as a member of 2 Nyatuh, we won first place for pertandingan sajak, bicara berirama, and choral speaking. The first half of the year was when I was unbelievably okay physically. Went to netball practices almost every single day and almost getting into the school team, sigh. I even got the school team shirt with my name at the back.
