That XX

I don't really want to post anything about myself now because I wanna talk about ANOTHER G-Dragon's new music video. Yeah, well, if you're not really a fan on K-Pop then I'm so sorry for wasting your time :( I'm not forcing you to read this if you don't want to so you can close this if you want, but make sure you come again here :DD

Back to GD then... I was really anticipating the song's release when the teaser photo came out with the title, That XX:

If you're wondering, XX is not the kind you see on messages like XOXO which means hug and kisses. Instead, in Korea, it is used for censored words. Like "I hate that XXXXX!" And.. of course the photo and title caused a lot of discussions because as you know, GD is weird and you know how his weirdness has caused him a lot of controversies and problems. To add the spark on the fire, it was announced that the lyrics of the song is not suitable for minors and the music video will only be available for people 19 years and above. Oooh, interesting.

That was when another announcement came. Jenny Kim (who will be debuting in a girlgroup from YG Entertainment, the same company as GD, Big Bang, 2NE1, Psy) will be playing the main role in the music video. Guess what? She's only 16 years old. Even my brother is older than her.

The song was scheduled to come out on the 1st of September and I actually watched it an hour after it was released, around 1 AM? And boy, was I surprised. You see, first of all, the song only used the guitar for the music which was the opposite of how everyone was expecting the background music will be; full of techno-music, dubstep and stuff. Second of all, the song was actually a BALLAD. And how surprised am I when I realized that the song was very... sweet-sounding. Thirdly, and this shocked me, this was the first time in such a long long time that GD looks normal. Yep, normal hair, normal clothes, normal background. He's even wearing a turtleneck pshh. I have to admit, it is a nice change. Fourth, there wasn't any parts that were unsuitable for kids, honestly. GD and Jenny looked like brother and sister in my point of view.

THERE WERE SIX BEEPS IN THE SONG THOUGH. It's for the chorus. And I heard the uncensored version (parents, don't worry, there's nothing here, really.) Turns out that the beeped word was 'Gae sae ki' which, umm, is something you must never say in front of ANYONE. Just Google it. Too bad the word is now stuck in my head and I sometimes say it without noticing.

Thank you for having survived throughout reading this. Do watch the music video below here and enjoy :D

And.. here's the English meaning of the song:
Bye.
