Clumsy Me/Hunger Games

Assalamualaikum and Happy Eiduladha to Muslims reading this XD I'm happy because today and tomorrow is a holiday. I'd like to tell you how I've changed today and yesterday disastrous because of my clumsiness. For the people who knows me, they'll tell you that I'm NOT clumsy (well, maybe a bit). Even I don't know what happened to me. So yesterday around 9 PM I was sitting on the sofa in front of my telly with my oldest brother on the floor with his laptop and my second older brother lying on the floor. We were watching the Super 8 DVD. I was holding a plate which was previously filled with Mi Sedaap (I made it myself OK) and then I put it at the corner of the sofa. So then it was the part where the kids were advancing at the crashed truck of Dr. Woodward (who appears to be dead). Then suddenly Dr. Woodward sat straightly which was terrifying because there was blood all over his head so it practically surprised me. In fact, it surprised me so much that I screamed (a bit) and accidentally pushed the plate. *CLANG* The plate shattered into a hundred pieces and I was in my place, looking guilty. My brothers were MAD I tell you. SUPER ANGRY AND MAD. So I had to pause the movie and swept the floor and wiped it with a wet cloth. And then we resumed watching the movie. Thank god my mum and dad were asleep at that time but I told them anyway today. So that's only ONE of the incidents. The other one is super embarrassing. It happened this afternoon. My family and I were back from Burger King's and we're going to Amcorp Mall. So when we reached there, I was holding a cup full of Sprite. My first brother and I were going to the Popular bookstore and when we reached there, I was a bit anxious because the sign clearly said NO DRINKS ALLOWED. I told my brother and he was like, "Pegang je." I don't know what happened but I remember walking pass two Chinese guy workers who was arranging some pens and they were like looking at the Sprite. The next thing I know, the cup fell, and all of the liquid was flowing on the floor. Dahlah banyak! SUPER EMBARRASSING. I feel really guilty and I don't know what to do. Imagine you're in my place. I mumbled an apology and one of the worker went to get a mop without a word. I said sorry for the second time and of course, he didn't scold me or anything. It's way WORSE. He didn't even say anything or look at me. So I went off with the empty cup to a further place. So today, I am constantly reminding myself to hold tightly to anything in my hand and to NOT BE CLUMSY. I hope nothing bad happens to me tomorrow.

Changing topics, I finished reading the second book of Hunger Games which is Catching Fire (Yay!) I bought the one with the same cover as Raisah's because I can't find the other one. Oh yeah, I never mentioned this before but I am now MAD ABOUT THE HUNGER GAMES!!! It's super awesome by the way. I started reading it thanks to Kee Raisah who brought the book at school the other day. The Hunger Games is about a post-apocalypse world called Panem, which used to be North America. So the main city there (like Kuala Lumpur) where the President and rich people live is called Capitol. In Panem, there's 13 districts, the 13th one destroyed because the citizens there tried to fight the Capitol. So the main character here is Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year old girl from District 12. District 12 is one of the poorest and weakest district in Panem. Then what is The Hunger Games? Hunger Games is something created by the Capitol. Every year, one girl and one boy aged 12 to 18 from each district (called tributes) are picked to enter The Hunger Game where they will be sent to a place without any food, water, or weapons and they have to kill each other until one person survives, all shown on televisions around Panem. The winner will bring pride to his/her district and plenty of food. The process is a bit like a lucky draw: If you're 12, you have to put your name once. If you're 13, you have to put your name twice. And so on. Except Katniss Everdeen has put her name more than 20 times this year. Why? Because they can get food in exchange with their name. Like her best friend, Gale, he has put his name more than 40 times to support his siblings. During the day of the reaping, guess who the girl tribute was? Prim Everdeen, Katniss' 12 year-old sister. So Katniss volunteered to replace her. The movie's coming out next year :) I mostly like the part when the tributes were sent to the place, called Cornucupia by a hovercraft. There was a golden horn there where valuables were scattered around it. The nearer it is to the horn, the more valuable it is. It could be food, weapons, torchlight, water, night-vision glasses, anything. Katniss was warned by her trainer to run away as soon as she landed and find a water source but she can't help the temptation when she saw the shiny weapons so she ran and went to pick up an orange bagpack near her. Turns out another tribute wants it too. Before she knows it, the other tribute coughed and sprayed blood on her. He fell down and Katniss saw a knife sticking out his back. The person who threw it turns to throw the next knife to kill her so she ran away. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, every time a tribute dies, a canon sound fires and a hovercraft will come to pick the body and send it to their districts. Oh and during the night, the Capitol's anthem will play and they can hear the voice of the game host which will tell the names of the tributes who died and an image of the dead tribute will be shown in the sky. I recommend you to BUY AND READ THE BOOK. OK, you don;t have to buy it, you can borrow someone else's book if you want (that's what I did for the first book). The cover may seems boring but remember the saying: Never, ever, ever, judge a book by its cover.
Adios people.
