Assalamualaikum and halloo to those reading this. I planned to write this yesterday but I was too tired so it was postponed until now. So, yesterday, 30th June 2011 was SA's 36th Sports Day. It was held at Stadium Kelana Jaya (I know, cool right?). Let me be the storyteller and tell you from the start.
I am in Emerald Green. So, last year (and pretty much like, every year) Green was always losing, being in the fourth place. But this year, though, we were miraculously in the second place next to Ruby Red, and this is before the Sports Day.
So, I was in the march past. And we the march past girls were supposed to come to the stadium at 6.45 a.m. I came late though, and I am not alone. My green house fellows were busily putting makeup on us. Our theme for this year was: Zombies. The motto was Our Spirit Never Dies. And Topaz Yellow's theme was: Transformers. Their motto was Transforming Towards Victory, while Ruby Red's motto was Charging Towards Victory. Their theme was: Mexican. Finally, Sapphire Blue's theme was: Narnia. Their motto was Voyage To Victory. I'll just skip to the part when the march past competition started. Today, my friends keep on telling me Green House should win because we were so cool. Especially our Green House ketua who dressed up as Michael Jackson (my mom said the teachers and parents thought it was Frankenstein.) and the Green House secretary dressed up as his corpse bride. Cool eh? Let me show you the pictures of each house's mascots. Credits to Azrianna Alyssa for her awesome photographing skills.
Emerald Green

They are soooo awesome right?
Ruby Red

I have to admit. Theirs are exceptionally cool too.
Sapphire Blue

Topaz Yellow

I LOVE their metallic looking lips and their robot face. Even my mom said theirs were cool.
So those were the four houses. To be honest, I think Green should win. But maybe that's because I'm in Green house. Okay, I'm gonna skip until the part where we receive prizes. Guess what? The olahragawati for P3 (form 1 and 2) and P2 (form 3) goes to Nadya Ameen (she's in my class) and Sau Mun, both from Emerald Green! (Applause) And for the recycling competition we got no. 1! But for our march past, we only got no.3 and senamrobik we get last place. And now, for the kedudukan of the houses 2011! Fourth place is Sapphire Blue, while Topaz Yellow with third place. Too bad though, Emerald Green won second place. And Ruby Red was the champion. You know, I actually cried because I was too sad. All the hard work to get number 1... And the difference between our marks and Red house was only 4! That is impressive actually because before the Sports Day, the difference was 92! Imagine that. And we moved from fourth place to second! So we went home, some sad and some happy. Tapi itulah adat pertandingan, ada yang menang, ada yang kalah. Guess what? My mum bought me a green Esprit watch for me when I went home! It looks so pretty, and my friends keep complimenting it. Here's how it looks like:

So I think that's all for now. Tomorrow is Larian 1 Malaysia, and it also contributes marks for our houses. Yes. It's not over yet. The winner is not determined yet, folks. Assalamualaikum and may tomorrow be a better day than today.
